After decades of service it's more than likely that the original power supply filter capacitors are well past their prime. Replace those aging, leaky and dried out capacitors with an Audio Regenesis capacitor board. No chassis modifications required, easy to install with supplied hardware and fully illustrated installation manual. |

| Much more than just a replacement for the original twist-lock cans, our capacitor board also replaces all the resistors and rectifier diodes associated with the power supply. Features significantly larger overall capacitance, separate cathode resistors for each channel plus additional film bypass capacitors for improved dynamics. | The Audio Regenesis PC-10A replaces the obsolete, increasingly hard to find, and expensive 7199 driver tube with either a 6GH8A or 6U8A. Either of these tubes is relatively low cost and readily available. Note that this is not just a tube swap. Additional components have been added to prevent stability issues . |

| The PC-10A retains the original PC-10 eyelet locations for complete compatibility during installation. In fact, with the exception of a few added components, the layout is virtually the same as the PC-10. High quality components include Belton Micalex tube sockets, metal film resistors, metal poly and silver mica capacitors. Because the SCA-35 can run quite hot, high temperature rated capacitors were specifically chosen to withstand the heat and sound great too. |

| For those who doubt the ability of the 6GH8A or 6U8A tubes to compete with the 7199, please take the time to read page 3 of the July 1990 Audio Basics Newsletter by Audio by Van Alstine. 6U8A tubes were also used by famous makers, like H.H. Scott, for exactly the same purpose (phase splitter) as they are in our PC-10A. They DO work well. |
